Cody Clark has a different way of thinking, a different way of seeing the world. Whether it’s finding the magic in an everyday moment, or recreating an everyday moment with his magic, the magician’s art is never far from his mind. But it isn’t the only thing. Cody discovered his love for magic at age 11, 9 years and 9 months after his parents discovered he had autism. Through stage magic and story, sleight of hand and journey of mind, Cody will show you the world through his eyes. Maybe you’ll find that his way of thinking isn’t all that different from yours.

BIO
Cody Clark (PERFORMER)
Cody has been performing magic since the age of 11, in spite of all the things he was told he couldn't do because of his autism. Since he places his magic effects within real life magic moments, his magic not only amazes his audience, but emotionally touches them at the same time. He uses his solo show "Cody Clark: A Different Way of Thinking" to advocate for autistics everywhere, having performed it at 11 fringe festivals so far and winning Best of Venue at KC Fringe 2017 and the Creative Spirit award at the 2018 SaraSolo Festival. He also performs a children's show themed to railroading called Conductor Cody and has an "all-purposes" show he can perform at various events, from small family parties to sharing the large stage of the Louisville Palace with fellow Louisvillian and former Las Vegas Monte Carlo Casino headliner Lance Burton. For his efforts, the Society of American Magicians named him their 2017 Rising Star of Magic during their 2017 annual convention.

Taylor Martin (DIRECTOR)
Taylor Martin is the producer and creator of Indy Magic Monthly, a once a month magic showcase in Indianapolis celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and is proud to be known as a character magician. Among his many personae are "Andrea Merlyn, Queen of Magic", "Rodney the Younger, Colonial Conjurer" and "Esmerelda, Gypsy Queen of Magic." He created IMM to fill a promise he made to himself; that one day there would be a show where the magic and variety talents of the local performing artists of Indianapolis could be showcased. IMM has since grown to host national touring magic acts and become an important training ground for young magicians such as Cody Clark, who Taylor now directs, produces, and manages.
