WHITE SAUCE AND DIAPER BABIES is a sultry, intellectual dark comedy which employs movement, verbatim text, and ambient sound to explore the emotional and psychological complexities of the great American poet, Anne Sexton's life and work.
This multi-media solo performance incorporates excerpts from Sexton's poetry and prose, along with her letters, diaries and interviews, to chronicle the poet's journey through the minefield of the mid-twentieth century, middle class American landscape.

Diana Shortes (PERFORMER)
Diana E.H. Shortes is a performing artist, writer, director and yoga instructor who has been living in New Orleans, LA since the year 2000. She is a graduate of Antioch College, and is currently a member of the faculty at New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts.
